NRMA Insurance International Women’s Test Match

Changes to The Pavilion Operations.

We are excited that the WACA Ground is hosting the International Women’s Test Match between Friday 6th March to Monday 9th March. To ensure your visit to The Pavilion is as smooth as possible please take note of the following important information.

The Pavilion will operate as per normal with all areas and services remaining operational during the test match with the only major change being the entry point.

The Pavilion Entry & Exit Point

For the duration of the test match entry and exit to The Pavilion will be via the aquatic event entry point on Nelson Crescent, just round the corner from Hale Street.

Health Club Access

To access the Health Club all members will enter via the aquatic event entry point, head to the indoor pool, and then proceed to the lifts normally used to access the Health Club.

Aquatic Access

Use of the pools will remain unchanged during the event period, with the only change being the entry & exit point via the aquatic event entry.

Swimming Lessons

Entry/Exit: All students will enter and exit via the aquatic event entry point, and head to the indoor pool.

Check In: you can still check in via self service kiosks on pool deck

Once you are inside the facility all lessons will remain in the same location

Plan your trip

Access to parking around the WACA ground will be heavily restricted due to the major event. We recommend opting for public transport where possible. If driving, please allow significant extra time for traffic and parking.

Event Safety Notification

As there will be a cricket event in progress, please stay vigilant for cricket balls that may enter this space from the field of play, especially when utilising outdoor areas of The Pavilion. Please follow all event safety signage and directions from staff.

Membership Suspensions

We’d love to see you, but if you’d prefer to skip the crowds, you are welcome to suspend your membership in line with our usual policy.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while this important event is delivered.

All operations will return to normal from Tuesday 10th March, 2026.
